Sidewall inscription

To verify if a specific tyre is affected by this programme, check the tyre sidewall inscription. Only tyres with their brand name, product line, tyre size and DOT code identified in the scope of the exchange programme are affected. The attached pictures provide examples of the relevant sidewall inscriptions.

The example is a ContiEcoContact 5, size 235/55 R 17 103 H XL tyre with DOT code CN 7AD72Y 4015 until 0221.

DOT serial number / production date: DOT CN 7AD72Y 4015 until 0221:

The last four digits of the DOT serial numbers indicate the production period (week/year). Affected tyres will be replaced free of charge. No other tyre sizes, production periods or product lines are affected.

Important: The complete DOT serial number including production date is visible only on one side of the tyre.
