Continental scoops prestigious industry award
- The National Tyre Distributors Association 2023 Tyre Industry Awards were presented on 19th October at the Association’s 94th Annual Dinner, at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes, UK.

Continental Tyres has been awarded Tyre Manufacturer of the Year at the National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) Awards 2023.
Continental beat off competition from Bridgestone, Hankook, Pirelli and Prometeon Tyres to win the prestigious tyre industry award, which was presented at the Association’s 94th Annual Dinner.
The award is decided by a panel of independent industry experts who take into consideration everything from sustainability and governance to innovation and business performance.
Commenting on Continental’s win NTDA CEO Stefan Hay said: “The judges felt that not only was excellence and innovation demonstrated in product development in Continental’s entry this year, but also across every single aspect of the business. The impressive tally of international awards is only matched by the glowing testimonies from customers and suppliers.
“This entry was absolutely outstanding and the judges were unanimous in their decision to honour Continental with the NTDA Tyre Manufacturer of the Year Award. The bar has been reset and this win will be a very difficult one to follow!”
