Using our premium hot retreading service, you give new life to your worn truck tyre and realise the full economic performance of the tyre.  Our retread tyres are generated from our ContiLifeCycle production plants based in Stocken, Germany and Ivybridge, UK (formally the Bandvulc plant). 

ContiLifeCycle production is compatible to how we manufacture our new tyres – using the same profiles and compound mixtures. For our ContiRe brand we exclusively use Continental casings, which are retreaded from bead to bead. This method also renews the sidewalls, and the tyres remain regroovable.

To ensure a premium finish, every tyre is put through durability and safety tests in adherence to a standardised quality system and during hot retreading, the process of applying the tread material is virtually identical to the production of a new tyre.

Our hot retreaded truck tyres are retreaded from bead to bead. The main advantage of this principle is that the sidewalls are renewed, ensuring that the quality of the hot retreaded tyre is comparable with that of a new tyre.

Professional tyre regrooving is a sensible and economical option to prolong the life of your tyre. In fact, regrooving pays off twofold: firstly, because you can use the tyre for longer and secondly because the lower profile thickness reduces rolling resistance, which in turn reduces fuel consumption.

On top of that are the environmental benefits. A tyre that be driven for longer before being replaced saves valuable resources.  The tyre must of course be labelled as regroovable in which to exploit this added potential fully without damaging the casing. Only qualified specialists may perform the regrooving.
